In aiming to motivate researchers to publish papers in high ranked journals and enhance the research activities in the university, University of Benghazi has launched its first award for the best research paper in 2017. The competition was opened under the supervision of Quality Assurance Office few months ago. More than 100 researchers from 15 different majorities participated in the competition and submitted quite valuable research papers. The award committee adopted points-based system/criteria to evaluate the contributions of the submitted research papers.
