The Faculty of Science at Benghazi University hosted the PhD thesis that interduced by the researcher: Haitham Mohamed Abdelkarim in the Chemistry Department. The event was attended by the President of Benghazi University, Professor Ezzeldin Al-Darsi,

the Director of Graduate Studies and Training, college deans, and several of faculty members .

 

The thesis was titled:

 

“The Interaction of Drugs and Vitamins with Bioactive and Synthetic Surfactants: Investigating Bonding and Micelization.” This study aims to understand the mechanisms of interaction between pharmaceutical compounds and surfactants, and the impact of this interaction on pharmaceutical applications.

The discussion committee was chaired by a group of professors specializing in the field from the University of Benghazi and the Libyan Authority for Scientific Research, including:

Prof. Ashraf Mustafa Al-Hashani (Supervisor),

Prof. Khaled Mohamed Dabi’ (Assistant Supervisor),

Prof. Fathi Shaker Al-Ashhab (Internal Examiner),

Dr. Fatih Al-Sanousi Al-Tabouni (Internal Examiner),

Prof. Mohamed Mohamed Al-Lafi (External Examiner), and

Prof. Abdel-Fattah Mohamed Al-Kharraz ( External Examiner).
