The university campus in the city of Benghazi was built on the latest global architectural models characterized by luxury, modern facilities, and efficient layout, making it a source of pride for the Arab Islamic nation
The area of the university campus is approximately 625 hectares, and it occupies a beautiful location on the Mediterranean Sea, to the west of Benghazi. The university campus includes the following facilities:
- Faculties buildings:
- It consists of parallel straight units. The central library of the university serves as the focal point for all academic buildings, while the lecture hall complexes are distributed according to the faculties. These complexes are connected by two-story bridges, facilitating movement between the faculties and lecture halls. All faculty buildings, the central library and the lecture hall complexes are linked by two-story covered bridges, making movement and walking between the ground and first floors convenient.

The central library was established on a 6,000m plot of land and an area of 26,000m divided into three floors.
The construction of the library commenced on May 28, 1968, and was finalized on September 15, 1973, with relocation occurring on December 29, 1973. In its three functions, the library houses up to one million volumes and can accommodate three thousand students simultaneously.

The university clinic opened in October 1978, and its location was suitable among and studied departments, classrooms, and student accommodations.

The university campus has a branch of the Bank of the Republic which carries out all banking work for students, faculty, and staff.

- University Polyclinic:
- It was designated for the female students’ accommodations (formerly) in Al-Humayda to localize the activity of the Specialized Health Services Center, through specialized clinics that have been equipped with the latest integrated medical equipment to perform their work in a manner that enhances the reputation and legacy of the University of Benghazi. Additionally, there is a medical laboratory for analyses and a pharmacy.

The center is located in Twakrah area east of Benghazi city
