Distinguished Research Achievement at the University of Benghazi: Eight Papers Published from a Single Master’s Thesis
In a notable scientific achievement that reflects the academic excellence of the University of Benghazi and its leadership in research, Mohamed Saad, a faculty member in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, produced eight research papers from his master’s thesis, all of which were published in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
The research was conducted under the supervision of Professor Mohamed Abduljawad Al-Malki and Professor Faraj Shuaib, faculty members in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Benghazi.
The thesis findings resulted in four papers published in internationally ranked journals, including two in first-quartile journals (Q1) and two in third-quartile journals (Q3). A further four papers were published in local scientific journals, bringing the total research output derived from the thesis to eight papers.
This achievement demonstrates the effective use of postgraduate research to generate high-quality scientific knowledge with meaningful academic impact. It also highlights the research excellence of University of Benghazi faculty members and the University’s commitment to supporting scientific research and publication in reputable journals, advancing its academic standing at both regional and international levels.
