Another Academic Achievement for the University of Benghazi: Professor Mahmoud Al-Werfalli Invited to Lecture at the International Life Sciences Research Masterclass

Professor Mahmoud Mohammed Al-Werfalli, a faculty member at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Benghazi, has received an official invitation from the Anchor University Centre for Global Health in Nigeria to serve as a lecturer and faculty member at the Life Sciences Research Masterclass, scheduled to take place on 15 August 2026.

The invitation was extended by the Course Convener, Dr Ezekiel Musa, in recognition of Professor Al-Werfalli’s distinguished academic and research expertise in research methodology and public health, as well as his significant contributions to strengthening and developing research capacity at both regional and international levels.

During the masterclass, Professor Al-Werfalli will deliver a specialised lecture entitled “Research Planning and Execution: Study Designs and Data Management in Health Research.” The lecture will address the fundamental principles of research planning, the selection of appropriate study designs, and the management of health research data in accordance with current scientific methodologies and best practices. It aims to enhance the ability of postgraduate students and researchers to design and conduct high-quality research.
