Benghazi University Approves the Editorial Board of Its Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences

The President of Benghazi University has issued an official decision approving the Editorial Board of the Benghazi University Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, chaired by Dr Abdulhamid Al-Barasi from the Faculty of Engineering – Benghazi. This step reflects the University’s commitment to advancing scientific research and enhancing specialised academic publishing.

The newly approved Editorial Board includes a distinguished group of academics and international experts from renowned universities in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Jordan, Nigeria, and the Sultanate of Oman. Their extensive experience in international publishing and strong academic records provide the journal with added value and a competitive standing at both regional and global levels.

This journal is one of five newly established scientific journals launched by Benghazi University as part of its ambitious vision to strengthen research output and promote global publication. These five journals, with their structure, objectives, and academic direction, are the first of their kind at Benghazi University since its establishment, marking a pioneering step also at the national level.

The Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences receives direct attention from the University President, Professor Eiz Eldeen Younis Aldressi, who emphasised the importance of providing a scholarly publishing environment that aligns with international standards and supports the University’s presence within the global research landscape.

The journal is expected to contribute significantly to enhancing specialised scientific output and to providing researchers with wider opportunities to publish their work through a trusted academic platform with rigorous peer-review standards.
