Today, the committee tasked with this project, chaired by Dr. Abdullah Al-Musrati, appointed by the Chairman of the Permanent Scientific Committee for Social Service, held a meeting. The meeting was attended by the General Registrar, Mr. Ahmed Al-Habti, the Deputy Chairman of the Committee, the Director of the Social Service Office at the General Registrar’s Administration, Mrs. Zeinab Al-Fakhri, and committee members: Dr. Faida Al-Warfalli, Dr. Fawzia Qanawi, and Mr. Khalid Al-Naji.

The purpose of this meeting was to initiate the preparation of the first guide for the departments and units of social services at the University of Benghazi, under the administration of the General Registrar.

This project aims to develop a comprehensive practical guide that facilitates the provision of the best services to students by social workers, psychological counselors, and educators at the university. The guide also aims to support the learning and academic achievement process in higher education and enhance students’ university experience.

After extensive discussions, the committee outlined the general structure of the guide and distributed the tasks among its members. The committee also agreed on the working methods and effective communication among its team members to ensure the completion of the guide with the highest levels of quality and efficiency.
