Benghazi University Participates in International Seminar on Dryland Farming and Oasis Cropping in Tunisia

Dr. Sami Al-Ojali, Director of the Center for Environmental Sciences and Sustainable Development Consultancy at Benghazi University, participated in the 9th International Conference on Desert Agriculture and Oases in Djerba, Tunisia. His paper, “Resource Management and Technological Innovations for Sustainable Agriculture in Marginal and Desert Areas”, discussed leveraging modern technologies and wise natural resource management for sustainable agriculture in desert environments.

The presentation focused on Libyan oases, challenges posed by climate change and resource scarcity, and scientific solutions and innovations supporting sustainable development goals, food security, and environmental development.
