University of Benghazi Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Khalifa International Humanitarian Foundation to Promote Sustainable Development

 

Reflecting its ongoing commitment to community service and effective partnerships, the University of Benghazi has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Khalifa International Foundation for Humanitarian Work, in the presence of key academic and administrative leaders.

 

The agreement was signed by the University’s President, Professor Eiz Eldeen Aldressi, and by Mr Mohamed Al-Mujabri on behalf of the Foundation, marking a shared commitment to advancing sustainable development and humanitarian initiatives.

 

The agreement aims to enhance cooperation across priority areas, including applied research on poverty, vulnerability, and livelihoods, as well as community and economic development, capacity building, innovation, and academic exchange programmes. It also includes organising scientific events and supporting entrepreneurship initiatives.

 

The University affirmed that this agreement represents a significant step in strengthening its role as an active academic institution contributing to sustainable development and supporting humanitarian initiatives, aligning with its strategic vision.
