Consultative Meeting to Support the Cooperation Project between Bayreuth and Benghazi Universities

A consultative meeting was held between the Director of the International Cooperation Office at Benghazi University, Dr. Ahmed Saad, and the members of the International Cooperation Committee at the university, Dr. Khadija Al-Barasi and Dr. Rawda Al-Senini, with Dr. Amal Al-Obaidi from the University of Bayreuth in Germany, representing the cooperation project with Libyan universities.

This meeting comes within the framework of consultations conducted by the University of Bayreuth with some Libyan universities as part of the project to deepen international cooperation during transitional periods.

The project aims to enhance academic cooperation between the two universities, and to exchange experiences and knowledge in the field of e-learning.

During the meeting, training opportunities in the field of e-learning were reviewed, and experiences and knowledge were exchanged between the two parties, with a focus on best practices in this field.

The meeting also discussed analyzing needs and developing strategies to successfully implement the project by enhancing infrastructure and human resources, and using technology to improve distance learning and the experience of students and academics.

At the end of the meeting, Professor Dr. Azaddin Al-Darsi, President of Benghazi University, affirmed support for the cooperation project between the two universities and stressed the importance of e-learning in enhancing the quality of education and reaching more students. He expressed the university’s commitment to developing this type of education and supporting innovation in this field, emphasizing the importance of international cooperation in developing the educational process at the university.
