University of Benghazi Inaugurates Chemical Engineering Club at the Faculty of Engineering
The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Benghazi inaugurated the Chemical Engineering Club, attended by a number of department professors, faculty students, and individuals interested in the field of chemical engineering.
The establishment of the club marks an important step toward enhancing student engagement in scientific activities and creating an interactive environment that supports the development of student skills. It goes beyond being a student club, serving as a platform to develop engineers capable of transforming theoretical knowledge into practical applications with real impact.
The club’s vision focuses on serving the community by using chemical engineering to deliver practical solutions, including improving water quality, promoting environmental awareness, and supporting innovation in the fields of health and energy. This further strengthens the University’s role in community service.
The club also announced a series of upcoming activities, including workshops, field visits, scientific competitions, and interactive experiments, aimed at enhancing students’ capabilities and broadening their academic and professional horizons.
The organisers expressed their appreciation to the Faculty administration, the Engineering Student Union, the department, and all attendees for their support in making this initiative a success.
