Dr. Ahmed Saad, Director of the International Cooperation Office, welcomed Mr. Bob Xi, Deputy Director of Huawei China, and Mr. Ayman Huboush, Director of Corporate Social Responsibility Programs at the company, in his office this morning. Also present at the meeting was Dr. Jamal Al-Arabi, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the university and Huawei in the field of information and communication technology. They emphasized the importance of exchanging experiences and knowledge to advance in this crucial field.

Both parties agreed to organize a one-day workshop in the coming days, the date of which will be announced later. During this workshop, Huawei will present its offerings that the university can benefit from in the field of information and communication technology, including technical aspects, training programs, and capacity building.
