The fourth meeting of Benghazi University’s University Council was convened, and chaired by Dr. Azaddin Aldersi, the university president. The meeting commenced with discussions on several crucial matters concerning the colleges and academic affairs within the university.

During the meeting, correspondence from the Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, Marj Branch, regarding the college handbook was reviewed. The importance of updating and enhancing the college handbook to ensure the provision of accurate and up-to-date information for students and faculty members was emphasized. Additionally, a correspondence from the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Benghazi, containing the graduate studies regulations at the college was discussed. The regulations were thoroughly examined, and the importance of providing advanced study programs in the field of education to meet the needs of students and the community was underscored.

Furthermore, correspondence from the Director of the Graduate Studies and Training Department concerning the joint supervision agreement on postgraduate programs between Benghazi University and the University of Huddersfield in Britain was deliberated. The significance of bolstering academic cooperation between the two universities and exchanging experiences and resources in the field of postgraduate studies was emphasized.

Finally, a correspondence from the Faculty of Education, Marj Branch, regarding the college’s strategic plan was reviewed. The necessity of developing a comprehensive strategic plan to achieve the college’s objectives and further its development was discussed. Additionally, various other important correspondences were addressed during the meeting.

These discussions underscore the university’s commitment to continuous improvement and the enhancement of the quality of education and scientific research across its various colleges.
